Care Ministry

Care Ministry is a one-on-one program that believes we are a people called by God and empowered by the Spirit to continue the work of Jesus. Our mission is to respond through a listening presence to the needs of others as a continuation of Jesus’ ministry of healing through home visits. We can provide you or a loved one with home visits from a trained Care Ministry member.

Communion to the Homebound

If you or someone you know would like to receive the Body of Christ, but are not able to make it to Mass, we offer communion to the homebound delivered by a trained minister.

Grief & Loss Support Group

Sponsored by St. Raphael the Archangel and Most Blessed Sacrament parishes. Meetings at Fr. Carr's Place 2B every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2–3 pm.

Nursing Home Visits

Our trained Care Ministers visit people in nursing homes at scheduled times to offer support, companionship, and prayer.

Prayer Chain

If you would like someone to pray for you or a loved one, request to be put on the prayer chain and our volunteers will add your intention to our daily prayers.

Prayer Shawl

Let St. Raphael bring comfort and joy to you or a loved one in need of healing through the gift of a prayer shawl that has been made by our volunteers while they pray.
