Reconciliation begins at 3:15 pm
The Sacrament is appropriate for those suffering from a serious illness or those of advanced age whose strength has been much weakened. Children over the age of reason (age 7) may receive if significant health conditions exist. The Sacrament may be repeated if there is a more serious relapse in the condition.
The Sacrament offers to the sick the grace of the Holy Spirit, by which the whole person is helped toward salvation, is lifted up by the faithfulness of God, and is strengthened against the temptations of evil and the anxiety of death.
People receiving Anointing of the Sick are encouraged to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation before hand.
St. Raphael also offers reconciliation:
Wednesdays: 8-8:30 pm
Thursdays: 4:00-5:00 pm
Saturdays: 3:30-4:30 pm
